THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $55,181 per annum pro rata + 11% superannuation. Reasonable overtime will be offered which can be taken as 25% loading equating to $13,795 p.a. by agreement.
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.  
Location: Eildon campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Position Status: An initial contract will be offered for 12 months.

Holmesglen is currently searching for a talented Chef to join our friendly team in Eildon. Working closely with our catering team, the Chef will demonstrate exceptional skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation, upholding to high standards. This opportunity is a great fit for a local resident of Murrindindi or someone considering relocation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Certificate IV in a Cooking apprenticeship and possess relevant certifications in Health and Safety, Food Handling, and Hygiene.
  • Dedicated to culinary excellence, continuous learning, and a career in hospitality.
  • Culinary knowledge and an understanding of kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work various shifts subject to roster requirements.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to work independently.
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.

Holmesglen at Eildon is a purpose built Conference facility and a campus of Holmesglen Institute - Victoria’s largest and most successful providers of Vocational & Higher Education.

The Eildon facility accommodates conference groups, functions, and events with accommodation on site for 150 guests. In addition, the facility hosts Holmesglen student groups for retreats and activities, also Holmesglen staff for Professional Development.
