THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $57,369 - $61,947 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (depending on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.8 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Appointment to 31/12/2024

The Department of Vocational Education and Training – Nursing Programs provides a progressive, innovative, and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.

As the Administration officer, you will be responsible for making sure students have submitted all their documents before attending their clinical placements, making sure the documents submitted meet compliance requirements, informing students of where they will be completing their clinical placements, advising the clinic of the students that will be attending their site and providing front-line assistance, support, and information.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in dealing with a broad range of people, face to face, telephone and email.
  • Advanced technical competence in the use of the MS Office applications, internet applications, and general database management software.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to relate professionally to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the proven ability to work flexibly and independently adapt to the changing needs of the department.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a busy environment with competing agendas, to ensure timelines are met.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment.
