Salary: $82.01 - $88.60 p/h + 11% super
Location: Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Casual

The Office of Teaching and Learning at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive environment aimed at promoting quality educational practice for current and future Vocational Educational and Training teachers. 

The department is currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals that are subject matter experts who will responsible for the development of teaching and learning resources for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122). Additionally the role will require applicants to teach and assess within the  the above qualification.

You will be joining a dedicated team of vocational practitioners who are committed to delivering a student focused program. This team takes a collaborative approach to teaching and learning with a focus on team work, respect, reflective practise and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 2+ years teaching experience within the vocational sector, specifically Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Minimum Diploma of Vocational Education and Training TAE50116 or Diploma of Training Design and Development TAE50211 or Diploma Training Design and Development TAE50216 (or their successors).
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40110 including the units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent.
  • Experience in applying adult teaching and learning principals and strategies that support successful learner outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of VET sector governance, compliance and industry standards.
  • Implementing inclusive educational practices in teaching and learning design and delivery.
  • Promoting diversity within the workplace and learning environment
  • Highly effective online teaching and learning strategies, including proficient use of learning management systems and the development of engaging online resources.
