THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $74,742 - $80,407 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience) Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT. Location: Waverley campus. WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check. Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check. Position Status: Contract of employment until 31 December 2025. Please note, this is a maternity leave coverage. Join us as a Senior Clinical Placement Officer and play a key role in supporting the next generation of Allied Health Nutrition and Dietetic professionals! In this role, you will establish and coordinate clinical placements for students, ensuring they gain valuable real-world experience. You will assist in coordinating a team of clinical facilitators and work closely with industry stakeholders to develop and maintain strong partnerships that support successful placements. To excel in this role, you will bring proven experience in coordinating placements or similar programs, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to lead and support teams in a collaborative environment. ABOUT YOU - Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualifications and relevant experience.
- Broad-based clinical and theoretical knowledge of the dietitian profession and health industry.
- Strong experience in coordinating clinical work placements and establishing stakeholder partnerships.
- Proven ability to counsel and support students, with a focus on practical program implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
