The Community and Transitional Education Department is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teacher to teach and assess units of competency in Certificate IV in Disability, the Course in Introduction to the National Disability Insurance Scheme and a range of other Community Services qualifications.

The successful applicant will be required to teach at both Chadstone and Moorabbin campuses and travel to a range of facilities to support and assess students on placement.

The successful applicant will need to have the following:

  • A qualification relevant to the disability sector
  • Significant, recent experience working in the disability sector and working with NDIS participants
  • Sound knowledge of Social Role Valorization and person centred planning
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching in the Vocational Education and Training Sector.

Salary: $67,418 - $95,586 per annum pro rata plus 9.5% super annuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: 1.0 Full time
Location: Chadstone and Moorabbin campus’.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing appointment with a qualifying period.
