The Department of Social Science at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.  The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions to students in courses such as Certificate IV in Youth Work, Diploma of Youth Work, Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Certificate IV in Community Services, Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Justice and Advanced Diploma of Justice.


  • Equivalent level or higher qualification to that being taught and/or highly relevant and current industry experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Previous experience in a teaching or training role preferred

Hourly Rate: $70.37 - $76.02 per hour (dependent on qualifications)
Location: Moorabbin campus
Employment Type: Sessional / Casual
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
