The department of Building Construction Trades at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking a teacher to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Furniture, Joinery and Manufacturing.  

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Appropriate industry qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Relevant industry experience

Salary: $67,418 - $95,586 per annum pro rata (range dependent upon qualifications and experience) plus 9.5% superannuation and leave loading
Time Fraction: Part time, 0.6 EFT
Location: Chadstone Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Contract of employment to 31/12/2020.
