The Faculty of Building, Construction and Engineering at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The Faculty is currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to provide academic leadership for the built environment degree programs, and to lead the re-accreditation of higher education programs with TEQSA and professional organisations.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the construction industry and practise. Furthermore, you will have extensive knowledge of Higher Education, regulatory environment (TEQSA/threshold standards), accreditation requirements and assurance of learning processes.

In addition, this role will require the successful applicant to provide input into key infrastructure projects including the iconic Metro tunnel project and participate in collaborative applied research projects with Industry and key higher education providers in Australia. .

Salary: $109,548 - $117,190 p.a pro rata + 9.5% super + annual leave loading
Time Fraction: Full time, 1.0 EFT.        
Location: Chadstone campus.
Position Status: Contract to 30 June 2022 with a qualifying period.
