The Community and Social Inclusion Department is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to source and place students with host employers for Practical Placements.  The successful applicant will work closely with students studying a range of Certificate IV & Diploma level qualifications including; Community Services, Mental Health and AOD. 

The position will involve:

• Cold calling potential employers;
• Practical Placement opportunities for students;
• Completing all relevant documentation;
• Maintaining a database;
• Collaborating with students, teachers and host employers regarding practical placement; and
• Performing general administration duties.

This position will work between Moorabbin and Waverley Campuses.  Travel around metropolitan Melbourne will be required.

The successful applicant will need to have the following:

• A current, full driver’s licence;
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills;
• Experience working in an education or community services environment;and
• Experience working in an administrative role

Experience working in a recruitment role would be an advantage. Rate of pay between $34.76 and $37.53 per hour, dependent on experience.
