The Faculty of Education, Service Skills and Environment are seeking a Teacher of Environment to effectively teach theoretical and practical sessions to students in the Diploma of Horticulture programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery of agronomy, design, turf, innovation and business horticulture units. Furthermore, you will understand the educational networks, peak bodies and organisations in Horticulture Programs to meet the requirements of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Certificate III or Diploma of a relevant field
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Relevant industry experience in Landscape Construction would be preferable

Salary: $71,107 to $100,818 p.a. pro rata (dependant on qualifications & experience) + 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: Full time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Waverley campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a valid Victorian Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Contract to 31 December 2020.
