The Allied Health Services and Science Department provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.

We are currently seeking applications for a teacher to develop delivery and assessment tools, deliver quality education and training at our Moorabbin campus, and assess students in the workplace during their clinical placement. You will participate in all facets of the learning process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the educational and training requirements of students. 

Essential requirements are: 

  • Relevant industry qualification – Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy specialisation preferred)
  • Relevant industry currency as an Allied Health Assistant within a hospital or community rehabilitation facility, to ensure students are learning about current industry practices.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • A proven ability to work independently

Salary: $77,024 to $109,207 p.a. pro rata (range dependent upon qualifications and experience) + 10% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: 0.4 EFT, Part Time.
Location: Moorabbin Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Contract of Employment 30 June 2022
