The Allied Health Services and Science Department provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. 

We are currently seeking applications for a teacher to develop delivery and assessment tools and deliver quality education and training at our Moorabbin campus. You will participate in all facets of the learning process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the educational and training requirements of students. You will also conduct assessment of students on their industry clinical placements.

Essential requirements are:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy) or relevant degree in Physiotherapy and/or Occupational Therapy
  • Relevant industry currency as an Allied Health Assistant within a hospital, community, or rehabilitation facility, to ensure students are learning about current industry practices.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills
  • A proven ability to work independently and within a team

Salary: $77,024 to $109,207 p.a. pro rata (range dependent upon qualifications and experience) + 10% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: 0.7 EFT, Part Time.
Location: Moorabbin Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Contract of Employment 30 June 2023
