The School of Nursing at Holmesglen provides an innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong professional links and partnerships within the healthcare sector.

The successful applicant shall have the exciting opportunity of working within a dynamic teaching team applying contemporary educational frameworks within an innovative integrated curriculum model. The Fully-Integrated Teaching (FIT) curriculum is designed to assist students to connect theory to practice and incorporates simulation teaching methodologies extensively across all years of the program. This, combined with a personalised student-centred approach, assures that students are well prepared for placement and practice.

Supporting the implementation of the FIT Curriculum are our world-class facilities, including the Holmesglen Simulation Centre. The Centre also provides the ideal context for innovation and research in nursing education and professional practice.

To work successfully within the School of Nursing, you will need to be an excellent communicator and team player who is positive and self-motivated.

This position is suited to those that have:

  • Substantial clinical and undergraduate teaching experience in a Bachelor/Diploma of Nursing program
  • Demonstrated experience in applying contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methods
  • A special interest in Indigenous Culture & Remote Nursing or Primary Health
  • A Master of Nursing or Master’s level qualification in a related field.
  • Confidence in the use of technology for educational delivery and student support

Salary: $99,396 to $111,323 p.a pro rata plus 10.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: Full time, 1.0 EFT
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment with a qualifying period
