THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $57,369 - $61,947 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience). Time Fraction: Full Time. Location: Drummond Street campus. WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check. Position Status: Ongoing position with a 6-month qualifying period. The Centre for Energy and Infrastructure at Holmesglen is looking for a Stores Person who is motivated, highly organised and detail oriented to join their Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) department at Holmesglen’s Drummond Street campus. The job involves working with industry-standard equipment in our expansive facilities. Duties may include, but are not limited to: - Maintain ESI store areas, ensuring that equipment is plant and equipment is operational, compliant, cleaned and maintained.
- Issue and distribute equipment and consumables for the delivery of ESI programs
- Ensuring training rooms and training yard are maintained and safe.
- Requisition, receive, store and distribute training materials to.
- Report on cleaning, maintenance and plant/equipment servicing requirements required each week.
ABOUT YOU - Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Experience in purchasing and inventory, asset management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to upkeep, maintain and organise storage spaces and organise/schedule the calibration and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Relevant trade experience including appropriate skill sets which supports the operations of a trade-based workshop.
- Hold a current valid driver’s licence.
- Preferably hold a current Fork-lift and dogman’s licence.
