Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full-Time, 1.0 EFT. 
Location: Waverley Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

The Department of Environment provides a progressive, innovative, and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking qualified, industry experienced, and motivated professionals to prepare, assess and deliver a range of units from Certificate II to Diploma of Horticulture specialising in plant identification to students at Holmesglen.

In this crucial role, the successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and facilitation of contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methodologies. As an integral member of the department, the successful applicant will play a key role in every aspect of the learning process.

  • Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice.
  • Experience in implementing latest training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Current licences necessary to practice or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association if applicable.
  • Approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
