THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $60,416 - $65,237 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Time Fraction: Part-Time, 0.6 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of appointment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

The Department of Allied Health Services and Science is seeking an organised and proactive Administration Officer to join the team!

In this role you will assist with administrative duties in the clinical office as needed while managing the department's day-to-day operations by coordinating a wide range of administrative, reception, and information services. This includes ensuring the smooth functioning of office procedures and supporting staff in their tasks. Additionally, provide comprehensive information and guidance to current and prospective students, helping them navigate their options and identify appropriate courses of action that align with their individual needs and adhere to organisational policies and guidelines. Your role will be crucial in fostering effective communication and ensuring that all administrative processes run efficiently.

You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining industry relationships and partnerships through friendly and efficient administrative support. If you have strong communication skills and a commitment to administrative excellence, we encourage you to apply!

ABOUT YOU

  • Diploma of Business Administration or tertiary qualification in business, administration or related field.
  • Experience in delivering high-level customer service, providing courteous, informative, and accurate responses to all enquiries via face-to-face, telephone, and email.
  • Proven ability to coordinate workflow, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a busy, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate professionally to internal/external stakeholders and adapt to the changing needs of the department.
  • Support the administration of marketing strategies, including Open Days, maintaining the website, updating the Connect Centre about changes to department offerings, and managing the faculty's after-hours message bank.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, database management software, and internet applications.
  • Knowledge of student management systems, policies, and procedures related to enrolment, administration, and student rights and responsibilities.
