Join the Faculty of Education and Foundation Studies as an Education Manager – Social Inclusion & Vocational College, where you'll provide educational leadership and strategic support to ensure departmental service targets are met. Your role involves working closely with students and support people. ensuring compliance with ASQA and funding agreement requirements, managing various courses, and overseeing program development and delivery. Collaborating with key clients, you'll utilise your professional expertise to determine strategies that enhance program delivery and service excellence. ABOUT YOU - Current in-depth industry knowledge directly relevant to the specialist and secondary education sectors including knowledge of contemporary best practice inclusive pedagogies.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, and the development and maintenance of compliance documentation for ASQA, funding and regulatory authorities.
- Extensive and relevant industry experience with the ability to demonstrate currency in vocational workplace competencies.
- Sound educational background with high level interpersonal, organisational, management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven capability to lead, motivate, and manage a team towards organisational and educational goals, maintaining budget constraints and ensuring efficient expenditure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment supporting students with multiple complex support needs.
Qualifications: - An approved course of adult teacher training accredited at the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 6 or above.
- Degree level qualification relevant to primary, inclusive or secondary education, disability, social work, psychology or another equivalent.
- VIT registration highly desirable.
